Μετακομιδή Τιμίων Λειψάνων Οσίου Εφραίμ εκ Ρωσίας

 

Η   Εκκλησία  εορτάζει  τη  μνήμη  του  Οσίου Εφραίμ και στις   28  Ιανουαρίου.
Ο  Όσιος Εφραίμ ίδρυσε στην πόλη Νόβο – Τόργκα ξενώνα, όπου κατοικούσαν  αιχμάλωτοι  ή  καταδικασμένοι,  και  διακονούσε  τους πάντες  με  αυταπάρνηση.  Ομοίως  στη  δεξιά  όχθη  του  ποταμού Τβέρτς,   πλησίον  του  ξενώνος,  ίδρυσε  ναό  το  1038,  και  τη  μονή  Νοβοτόρζσκϊυ   των    Αγίων    Βόριδος   και   Γκλέμπ.  Τα    ιερά    λείψανά του   μετεκομίσθησαν   στο     καθολικό    της    μονής,    το   1572.

Saint Ephraim set up a hostel in the town of Novo - Torga, where they were prisoners or convicts, and decorated everyone with self-denial. Similarly, on the right bank of the river Tervets, near the guesthouse, he founded a temple in 1038, and the Novotorskiy Monastery of Saints Voridis and Gleb. His holy relics were moved to the monastery's cathedral in 1572.
