Οι Άγιοι Τέρτιος, Μάρκος, Ιούστος (ή Ιησούς) και Αρτεμάς οι Απόστολοι εκ των 70

 

Ο  Τέρτιος   έγινε   δεύτερος   επίσκοπος   Ικονίου   μετά    τον    Σωσίπατρο.  Έγραψε δε  και  την   προς  Ρωμαίους  Επιστολή  του  Αποστόλου   Παύλου,    καθώς    ο    ίδιος   μαρτυρεί  (Ρωμ.   ιστ’  22).

Ο    Μάρκος,   ανεψιός   του   Βαρνάβα,    έγινε    επίσκοπος  Απολλωνιάδας   και   με  το    Ευαγγελικό   του   κήρυγμα   εξολόθρευσε  το    σέβας    των    ειδώλων.  (Κολασ.  Δ ’ 10).

Ο  Ιούστος   έγινε   επίσκοπος   Ελευθερουπόλεως    και    με   τα    λόγια  του    και    τα   θαύματά   του,   είλκυσε   στην   αλήθεια   του    Ευαγγελίου    τους    εκεί    απίστους.     
Και  ο  Αρτεμάς  έγινε  επίσκοπος  στα  Λύστρα,  και   σαν   δόκιμος  υπηρέτης  του  Χριστού   διέλυσε   στον    τόπο    αυτόν   την    πλάνη    των δαιμόνων.

 

Saints Tertius, Mark, Justus (or Jesus) and Artemis the Apostles of the 70's

 

 

Tertius became the second bishop of Konya after Sosipater. He also wrote the Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Romans, as he himself testifies (Rom. P. 22).

Mark, nephew of Barnabas, became bishop of Apollonia and with his Gospel sermon he exterminated the veneration of idols. (Col. D '10).

Justin became bishop of Eleftheroupoli and with his words and miracles, he attracted to the truth of the Gospel the unbelievers there.

And Artemis became a bishop in Lystra, and as a probationary servant of Christ he dissolved in this place the delusion of the demons.
