αναφέρεται άλλη, παρά
μόνο η πρώτη (24 Φεβρουαρίου).
Η εύρεση αυτή
έγινε από κάποιον
άγνωστο ιερέα στα Κόμανα
της
Καππαδοκίας, μέσα σε
αργυρή θήκη, σε ιερό τόπο
και μεταφέρθηκε με
μεγάλη επισημότητα και
πομπή στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, όπου κατατέθηκε στη Μονή του Στουδίου.

Ως θείον θησαύρισμα
εγκεκρυμμένον τη γη, Χριστός απεκάλυψε, την Κεφαλήν σου ημίν,

Memory of the Third
Finding of the Honorary Head of Prophet John the Baptist
This should normally be
regarded as a second finding, since nowhere else is it mentioned except the
first (24 February). This discovery was made by an unknown priest in the Comana
of Cappadocia, in a silver case, in a sacred place, and was transported with
great solemnity and procession to Constantinople, where he was deposited in the
Monastery of Studios.
